Thymbra creates the Portal APS Argentina

Buenos Aires, December 9th 2007

APS is a joint effort of Thymbra and the University H.A. Barceló, in Buenos Aires, through the CIACS ( Health Informatics Center ).

We work with local hospitals, specially Pirovano public hospital in Capital Federal. Dr. Juan Carlos Giménez is in charge of the project in the hospital, and Biochemist Luis Simes is in charge of the CIACS.

The goal is both to integrate the latest open source computer resources and put it to work in public hospitals, as well as a way to promote healthy habits in the population.
